On September 30, 2015, Richard Ridinger, CEO of Lonza, presented the DM Trivedi Lifetime Achievement Award for Contribution to the Indian Chemical Industry from the Indian Chemical Council (ICC) to Dr. Jörg Strassburger, CEO of GO EAST Advisors, Gau-Algesheim. For the first time in the history of the Indian Chemical Council, a foreign award recipient was honored.
With the Lifetime Achievement Award, the Indian Chemical Council (ICC) annually honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Indian chemical industry. “It is an honor for me to be the first foreign recipient to receive this award,” said Dr. Strassburger. The award was presented at a gala attended by more than 200 representatives from the Indian and international chemical industry, including Richard Ridinger and Sanjeev Gandhi, member of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF.
